On the 2nd Tuesday of
each month (starting Jan. 2013), a monthly meeting of Charlotte
Saltwater Sportfishing Club is held at Captain Steve's Family
Seafood Restaurant, 8517 Monroe Rd. Charlotte, NC 28212.
Club members, consisting of fly fishermen, kayak fishermen, surf
fishermen, pier fishermen and boat fishermen, often like to share
experiences and possibly learn a bit more about fishing in
A social time starting around 6:30 is when members exchange
stories and talk about their saltwater trips and whatever topics
all while enjoying dinner from a great menu selection
or the buffet located in the meeting room.
A brief business meeting begins at 7:00 and the raffle is
concluded, then followed
by the program which may be, a guest speaker for the month or a
"hands on workshop"
session devoted to member requested fishing topics.
Charlotte Saltwater Sportfishing Club is open to everyone who
enjoys fishing in saltwater.
Each month, our President (TW McPherson), writes the Club Talk New
which tells us what the next months program will be and other
about current club news. This News Letter is posted on the club
